What do I have to say after my first FULL WEEK OF WORK???

"WAAAAHHHHHHH
I WANT MY MOMMEE!.....WHAAAAAA"

Dang, I am exhausted...I've heard 100 new acronyms this week and I don't remember any of them. I do have one for myself though. I'm L.O.S.T.

So much to learn and too many problems to tell. And-- I'm only carrying half my case load.

Been in some meager homes this last week--in parts of town you wouldn't want your dog to wander in.

Hmmm....I'm going to reserve judgement on this job for at least a month...just praying that things will be clearer by then.

Also, saw some beautiful children with faces that follow you into your sleep. Working with a bunch of FABULOUS people who have kept from jumping off a bridge.

And...Heard God ask me AGAIN--"So, do you trust me??? or do you just SAY you trust me??"

Busted AGAIN!

How are you all? I shouldn't have to be the only one telling on myself.

You all notice that Colleen is looking older?

Has anyone read The Shack??? You gotta give it a look.

Wow sounds like a pretty intense first week - but like you said you have to give it some time. I've always heard that you need to give a job at least 6 months before you make any judgements. GOOD luck with the coming weeks and learning all the new acronyms!!

Hey Jude, Hope things are getting easier with the job. It's always overwhelming when you first start to do something new, and then one day everything clicks and you wonder why you were so frustrated, right?
We are getting ready to take Alyssa up to Duluth, she checks in on the 28th. I am trying to send some pics, but, this is the third time I have tried to send a comment and I hope this goes through, because I am NOT computer savvie.....
I got my doc bill, it costs over 10,000.00 for my one day in the hospital. And, that's not the bill for the ambulance or the doc yet. I got two more today for some more tests and I'm sure I will continue to get them for awhile. Bummer, but, at least it was just heartburn, I was not looking forward to that heart transplant...
Alyssa got her wisdom teeth out yesterday. She has chubby cheeks, but she seems to be doing okay...How's the rest of the family?? Take care and miss you!!!
