Makes me wonder why I ever listened to others and choosing not to serve in the Military out of tech school.

I think you would've made an outstanding Marine Eric! Wonder why I didn't encourage you to consider that option back in the day...
Steve and I spent all day today packing boxes for Marines in Iraq...you just pray that somehow the small gift you send brings a measure of comfort.
We just cannot explain the devotion and gratitude that we feel towards our Marines... What they say is true--"Once a Marne always a Marine."
That's MARINE!
