I did have a very nice bday, thanks to all for the cards, flowers and so on...the day really did feel special, even though I'm old.
This is what Stan called the Birthday Alter...ready and waiting for me to come home. He also made the bday card - 5 pages long, including pictures of us, funny captions and a lovely poem on the last page...oh yeah and it was fastened together with ribbons.
Notice the wrapping job...hmmm - is that duck tape?

Wish I could add a hilarious picture of Krisit from days gone by, (and I do have a few of those) but this is the best I can do for her on short notice Suz.
ahhhh, what a sweetie that Stan is. Sounds like you had a special birthday, and 40 is not even close to old.
