Here's my new classroom...Yep, back to teaching at a school right near home. John and Beth did my door!! Thank the Lord cause I certainly didn't have the time or the talent to do it! I'm teaching Pre-K again.
The kids were so perfect for the first week, I felt depressed. I told Steve, "Anyone could teach these kids...what am I supposed to do all day?" Then one of my little darlings had a melt down and kicked me, and spit in my face. I said AMEN!!, I CAN stay here--there's work for me to do. What a relief.

Good Luck and don't worry - there are kids everywhere picking their days to have melt downs, you'll be fine! but just remember it's OKAY to NOT have to constantly put out fires and drive the fire truck all the time :) I know that's not proper english, but I'm tired so leave me alone :)
LOVE THE DOOR!!!!
Hey teacher,
You have a misspelled word in your blog title - teehee :)
Thanks for the help sister...do you know I actually have a 4 year old reader (he came to school reading)and he did correct me when I was reading the other day. OK...so I was reading up-side-down. My teacher's aide just looked at me and grinned...
Think I'll leave the mistake there...just so you can feel really smart. ;-)
FOR THE CURIOUS..OR SERIOUSLY BORED.... The Parent Educator job wouldn't pay me for mileage and I was putting on the miles big time. Steve really encouraged me to "Give them notice--Pay or Goodbye!" Meanwhile a good friend kept calling me with a "exceptional job offer" I turned her down twice and finally sat for the interview and was hird on the spot...before I quit the PE job. Life is strange....especially mine. I don't miss the ghetto...well, not very much. It was a good job...sigh
Hey, Eric!!! We need a Jack update...How's it going?
I still don't feel smart, can you try something else :)
Sorry, Kristi...I'm only certified to teach up to third grade. SIGH...Good thing since I can't spell. (or type) I love having the power to defy the conventions of spelling. (that's teacher-lingo) I do have a friend who's taught at the college level...maybe she can help you out! Angie are you out there?
Hey Everybody, Since, I don't know how to start my own heading, spelled correctly or otherwise, I am sneaking in this one to say---HAPPY 40TH BIRTHDAY KRISTI!!!!!!!
I'm sorry the other job didn't work out for you, but this one seems right up your alley, as well. Surely you can practice your Marine Corps roots with the little one who spits and kicks... "Recruit!" ;)
Hey Auntie Judy!
Your right I haven't gotten back to you. Did you know I've been having this conversation with the comment page for the last year and it never posted my comments. Well I've mastered the skill thanks to my auntie Kristi. Yeah! I still have to figure out how to leave comments in the center blog, but I'll figure it out soon. I bet your a great teacher Judy. I did get your pictures from vacation up here. Thank you, I save that stuff from you. I'm still trying to finish my Catholic Confirmation. Acceptance is the hardest thing to understand while attending Catachism through the Catholic Church. Mabey I should just send you a letter and explain all the things I'm learning; because this process is immaculent. Most importantly Everyone hates Catholics...that seems to be the theme. I hope you find my comment. It's kind of hidden in here. Talk to you soon.
